Construction Cost Manager - (Williamsburg) in Newport News, Virginia For Sale

A Large national, multi-community residential home builder has two open positions for a Construction Cost Manager. Positions are located in the Chesapeake and Williamsburg areas and are open due to internal promotions. The Construction Cost Manager will provide cost projections and analyze results for all aspects of the home building process including materials, subcontractors, land and other related costs; update and maintain sales price worksheets for all active and future communities; review plans for standardization of building components, additional options and construction methods; project costs for different product options and analyze results to ensure accurate estimates; implement and maintain effective cost control systems; and assist with pricing models for active and future communities. The Construction Cost Manager must have bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, MBA and /or CPA is highly preferred; 3+ years related financial analysis, costing, planning or economic analysis experience; public accounting, real estate, or manufacturing experience; exceptional analytical ability; expert computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel. Exposure to new home or commercial construction experience preferred.
