Job Description:Seasonal Our Tax Professionals look at our client's life through tax and find ways to help H and R Block has been focused on quality client service for more than five decades and is the largest tax preparer in the industry1. As an H and R Block tax professional, you are responsible for preparing complete and accurate tax returns while delivering outstanding client service and generating new clients through local marketing efforts. The First Year Tax Professional duties include:Grow our Clients:Generate new clients through the execution of office sales and marketing plansPromote H and R Block products and services.Serve our Clients:Build trusted and personalized client relationships by understanding the needs of each client and ensuring each client receives a great experience at H and R Block.Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.Grow Tax Expertise and Knowledge:Grow tax expertise through continuing education courses and on the job training.Other duties as assigned Click Here to learn more about what it's like to work as an H and R Block Tax Professional Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional course work in math, accounting, finance, or marketing is preferred. Skills and Experience: Experience necessary may be acquired through the successful completion of the H and R Block Income Tax Course2 with a grade of 70 or better, or may be demonstrated through successful completion of the H and R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment Exam. Additional experience for this position is acquired through mentoring programs and training upon hiring. Resilient and self confident with the ability to perform successfully in a fast:paced environment. Ability to conduct local marketing activities and attract new clients Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in person. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Previous experience in a customer service environment is preferred. Knowledge and experience with a Windows based computer system preferred.
