Cognos Developer - (Newport News) in Newport News, Virginia For Sale

We are currently hiring Cognos Developers for an upcoming project with one of our clients. Role will sit in Newport News, VA. 6-12 month + contract, potential to go full time. Ideal candidates will have the technical background and great communication skills. 5+ years of Cognos development in an agile environment (currently on 10.1- they would prefer 10.2 but would be ok with series 8 and possibly 7) 4+ years' experience with Powerplay and Transformer (they will be using powerplay to access the cubes, data manager to extract the information, and transformer to build the cubes as well as to drag and drop information to build reports) 2+ years of Oracle 10G,11g -12c would be great- (they must be able to write plSQL procedures and queries on the database-they also need to have this experience to run connections and handle performance issues) 3+ years with Developing and generating data using Query Studio 3+ years with accessing, viewing and creating reports in Report Studio 2 + years with semantic layer (Framework Manager) About TEKsystems: Join TEKsystems(R), a leading IT staffing, IT talent management and IT services firm, and get your career on the fast track.
